Even if the project has officially ended, the partners of ANCHISE are still active!

Join our next webinar, an extended edition of ANCHISE Talks, organised by Michael Culture Association and ENCATC, in collaboration with Blue Shield – Illegal Trafficking Working Group.

13 November 2026 | 16:30–18:00 CET – Online

To celebrate (one day in advance) the UNESCO International Day against Illicit Trafficking in Cultural Property, we will discuss two parallel topics important for our sector:

  • UNESCO’s revised International Code of Ethics for Traders in Cultural Property. What are its main principles, and how can they translate into practice?  How can civil society organisations contribute to strengthening these efforts? Louise Malecot and Marie-José Minone (UNESCO) will present the revised Code and its implications, followed by Dr. Nancy Von Breska (Senior Cultural Heritage Expert, Lapislazul), who will address its practical implementation in the art market together with the audience.

  • How are civil society organizations active for fighting against the trafficking and looting of cultural goods? Prof. Patty Gerstenblith (Blue Shield International) and Sophie Delepierre (ICOM International) will present case studies, followed by a guided conversation.

By bringing together different areas of expertise, this webinar aims to show how fighting the trafficking and looting of cultural goods is a joint and cross-sectoral challenge!
