This year, the Digital Heritage Summit 2026 — four days of high-level dialogue, strategic policy discussions, hands-on experimentation, and collaborative innovation dedicated to the future of digital heritage — will be held in Cyprus from May 25th to May 29th. Organised by the UNESCO Chair on Digital Cultural Heritage at the Cyprus University of Technology, in partnership with Heritage Malta, the Digital Heritage Summit 2026 is this year's special edition of EuroMed 2026—Europe's leading forum for digital cultural heritage research, policy, and innovation. Each day has a clearly defined purpose, ensuring that participants gain both insight and practical experience in the future of cultural heritage digitisation.

Anchise will also be present with a Round Table titled Digitisation as a Tool Against Illicit Trafficking. Discussions will highlight how digitisation, certification mechanisms, and interoperable documentation systems strengthen provenance tracking, enhance border control processes, and support EU-level enforcement.

This session will directly contribute to the drafting of a formal position paper for EU authorities, as well as a published outcome document. Participation in this round table offers contributors and associated projects the opportunity to influence policy and ensure that their digitisation efforts become part of Europe’s long-term strategic vision.

For each day a separate registration is needed. Register for the fourth day and the Anchise round table here.
