OSINT Webinar with ANCHISE

On Wednesday 26 February 2025, the Global Security Chair and ANCHISE project welcomed OSINT expert Serge COURRIER to a half-day inter-professional seminar on “OSINT and trafficking in cultural goods”.

 OSINT (Open Source Intelligence) aims to collect and analyse information from open sources. The webinar explored OSINT principles and examined its application to the problem of trafficking in cultural goods, in front of a broad audience of European participants from various professional fields. 

It came from the webinar that, thanks to OSINT tools and methods, new resources are available to investigators and cultural heritage experts, for the detection of stolen artefacts before they disappear in private collections or illicit trades.
